Oklahoma Farm Report

Stillwater, Okla.

I work for Oklahoma Farm Report, supporting daily agricultural news coverage through on-air reporting, interviews, and content production. My role focuses on capturing and sharing the voices of agricultural producers, industry leaders, and policymakers across Oklahoma. This experience is strengthening my skills in storytelling, deadline-driven communication, and translating complex agricultural issues into clear, engaging messages.

John Deere

Austin, Texas

I worked with John Deere in a marketing and communications role, supporting brand initiatives for the See & Spray™ technology business model through event planning and integrated campaign support. My work contributed to clear, consistent messaging that highlighted this innovative precision agriculture solution for producers. This experience strengthened my skills in event planning, corporate marketing, and strategic brand storytelling.

Koch Agronomic Services

Wichita, Kan.

I worked with Koch Agronomic Services in a brand and communications role, where I helped launch the company’s internal podcast. In addition to the podcast, I supported a variety of marketing initiatives, contributing to product campaign efforts and internal knowledge sharing. This experience strengthened my skills in internal communications, strategic storytelling, and corporate brand support.

Collegiate Involvement

Agricultural Communicators
of Tomorrow

I serve as President of the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, leading the chapter’s strategic direction, programming, and professional development initiatives. My role includes planning large-scale events, coordinating with industry partners, and supporting members’ career growth through networking and hands-on learning opportunities. This experience strengthens my leadership, project management, and organizational communication skills.

Ferguson College of Agriculture Ambassador

I served as a Ferguson College of Agriculture Ambassador, representing the college through recruitment events, tours, and outreach initiatives. In this role, I engaged with prospective students, families, alumni, and industry partners to share the college’s programs, culture, and opportunities. This experience strengthened my public speaking, interpersonal communication, and professional presentation skills.

National Association of
Farm Broadcasters

I am a member of the NAFB and attend the annual convention to engage with industry professionals and stay connected to current issues in agricultural media. I also serve on the NAFB Foundation Board, bringing a student perspective to support the organization’s philanthropic efforts. This involvement strengthens my understanding of industry leadership, nonprofit operations, and the importance of giving back to the agricultural communications community.
